With this partnership, we’re now able to offer thorough pre-procedure cardiology evaluations for pets undergoing dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of health and safety for your pet. This invaluable addition means that pets in our New York City community can now benefit from specialized cardiology care, right here at our clinic.

Dr. Dar Ozer, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology)
Dr. Dar Ozer is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Growing up in the Tri-State area, Dr. Ozer has been passionate about veterinary care since high school and has dedicated her career to improving pet health. She earned her degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2011, followed by a rotating internship in Internal Medicine and Surgery, a specialized cardiology internship, and a veterinary cardiology residency focusing on medical and interventional cardiology at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in Bohemia, NY.
Dr. Ozer’s clinical interests include the management of complex congenital heart diseases, interventional cardiology, treatment of congestive heart failure, and the interpretation and treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias. With a deep commitment to advancing veterinary cardiology in the New York City area, Dr. Ozer brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients and their families.
Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Ozer enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old tuxedo cat. She has a background in horseback riding and therapeutic riding instruction. An avid fan of the Michigan State Spartans, she enjoys activities such as spinning, weightlifting, skiing, yoga, and cooking.
